Saturday, Aug. 30

  • 8 am – 12:30 pm Information Systems will be available for Student Photo IDs in the Student Lounge of the Alfond Center
  • Java Joe’s Café will be open from 9 am – 1 pm
  • The Treasurer’s Office and Bookstore will be open from 8 am – 3 pm

New Student Orientation

STUDENTS: Orientation provides students with an opportunity to develop an understanding of all aspects of college life at Saint Joseph's College.

Program highlights include the following:

  • Course Registration for fall classes
  • Meetings with faculty, staff and student leaders
  • Student-to-student discussions
  • Entertainment and activities
  • Opportunity to find a roommate

PARENTS & FAMILIES: Parents and families play a critical role in helping students make the transition to college. The orientation program provides parents with an in-depth look at the Saint Joseph's College experience and assists parents in determining how to best support their first year student.

Program highlights include the following:

  • Meeting key College faculty and administrators
  • An opportunity to get answers to financial and billing questions
  • An overview of the first-year student experience
  • Sessions with faculty advisors
  • An overview of Saint Joseph's College expectations

Students stay overnight on-campus and parents have the option to stay as well!
