John R. Pratt, health administration professor at Saint Joseph's College in Standish, Maine, was honored with the 2008 Education Award by the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA). more

Saint Joseph's College has announced the hiring of Rick Burrill of Freeport as head athletic trainer. Burrill spent the last 16 years as an athletic trainer in professional hockey, including the last two seasons with the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League. more

Portland String Quartet plays on campus
The world-renowned Portland String Quartet will perform at the college on Monday, July 21, and Monday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m., during its two-week residency at the Sebago Lake campus. more

Professor wins Olympic Ring Award
Scott Fuller of Poland, Maine, was awarded a prestigious Olympic Ring Award in Beijing, China, on May 31 as part of the Olympic Landscape Sculpture Contest. Fuller's sculpture, co-designed with Asherah Cinnamon of Portland, was one of 50 Ring Award winners out of 290 design finalists selected as “Excellent Works.” more
