Graduate & Professional Studies, Saint Joseph's College of Maine

Partnerships

The Division of Graduate & Professional Studies develops beneficial relationships with academic, governmental, religious and business institutions to meet the educational needs of their students, associates and employees. These relationships take the form of articulation agreements with other colleges to enable credit transfers, specialized educational programs and military benefits for active and retired service members, and Education and Training Partnership Agreements with businesses and religious groups.

Benefits of educational partnerships

Employer-sponsored education proves to be a strong incentive for employees to stay with an organization. If the corporate partner is a multiunit organization, employer-sponsored education provides a valuable benefit to offer its member units.

Our education programs can give your employees professional knowledge and skills they need to excel at their jobs or to move up to a higher level within your organization. These programs can also help staff members acquire or maintain professional licensure.

Our online programs are offered in a way that employees can study when they want, on their time, or if your company chooses, even while at work.

Saint Josephs College of Maine will work with the corporate partner to provide consistent documentation of the courses taken and degrees completed by the organizations staff.

Dealing with a single educational institution makes it easier for the corporate partner to deal with issues of tuition assistance. Contact the Office of Continuing Education & Training to discuss your options or to arrange a site visit at (800) 343-5498 x 7824 or (207) 893-7824.
