Campus Security Campus Security Officers patrol the campus 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and are responsible for the safety and security of all Saint Joseph's College community members and property. In order to report a crime or other emergency, please call 207-893-6687 from an off-campus or cellular phone, or dial extension 6687 from any campus extension. The emergency line, 7911, can be dialed from any on-campus phone. Emergency telephone call boxes are located outside or near all residence halls, the parking lot behind the Alfond Center, and the baseball field parking lot. These telephone call boxes are in prominent locations and are identified with a blue light. The Security Office also has an anonymous tip line e-mail box located on the College web site. Information concerning witnessed criminal activity can be reported here for investigative follow-up by Campus Security. Campus Security Officers have the authority to ask persons for identification and to determine whether individuals have lawful business on the campus. Criminal incidents are referred to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, which has jurisdiction in the Town of Standish, Maine. A safe community starts with YOU, prompt reporting will assure timely warning notices on campus and timely disclosure of crime statistics.
