1/20/09 – 2008 Women’s Cross Country Team Awards Announced
STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph’s Cross Country Head Coach Tom Dann has announced the 2009 team awards. Following each season, the coaching staff selects individuals to receive four awards for each team – Most Valuable Runner, Most Improved Runner, Best Rookie and Coaches Award. Read more
11/15/08 - Women Place 26th at Regionals
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - The Saint Joseph's College women's squad placed 26th out of 49 teams with 771 team points in the NCAA Divsion III New England Regional Cross-Country Championships hosted by Williams College. Alysn Ludwig '09 (Waldoboro, ME) was the first SJC runner to complete the race, finishing 116th out of 330 runners with a 25:45.5 time in the 6K event. Middlebury College won the event with 57 team points and Elise Tropiano of Amherst College placed first with a 21:49.3 effort. Read more
11/8/08 - Women 18th in ECAC Championship
BRISTOL, RI - The St. Joe's women's cross country team placed 18th out of 42 teams with 556 points in the ECAC Division III Championship at Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island on Saturday. Alysn Ludwig '09 (Waldoboro, ME) paced the Lady Monks with a 25:33 time, good for 58th in the 6K event. Katie Murphy '11 (Baileyville, ME) was close behind with a 25:54 effort. Read more

11/1/08 - Women Win GNAC XC Championship!!
Alysn Ludwig '09STANDISH, ME - The Saint Joseph's women's cross country team won the 2008 GNAC 5K Cross Country Championship, for the second consecutive year, with 47 team points, 22 points ahead of runner-up Johnson & Wales University. Alysn Ludwig '09 (Waldoboro, ME) placed fifth overall with a 21:16 time to pace four SJC runners who finished in the top ten individually. Cathryn Lariviere of Emmanuel College won the race with a time of 19:46, which broke the St. Joe's course record time by one second. Read more
