- St. Joe's Field Hockey Team Honored for Academic Excellence
STANDISH,
ME – The Saint Joseph's College field hockey team has been honored
as a 2008 National All-Academic Team by the National Field Hockey
Coaches Association (NFHCA), awarded to programs with a team GPA
of 3.0 or higher. Nine Lady Monks were also honored individually
for achieving academic excellence, having posted at least a 3.30
GPA during the fall semester. Read

In all, six players were recognized for their efforts during the

BEVERLY, MA - With a goal from
Megan McBride in the 33rd minute, top seeded Endicott College
(17-5) defeated #4 Saint Joseph's (15-6) in an ECAC Tourney Semifinal
matchup on Saturday afternoon.

Worcester State (11-10, 3-2 MASCAC) in an ECAC Tournament Quarterfinal
match-up on Wednesday afternoon at Lakeside Field. CourtneyRague '11 (Old Orchard Beach, ME) netted the
game-winning goal in the 53rd minute for the Lady Monks. Read
