Financing your education

We want to help you finance your education. That's why Saint Joseph’s commits more than $10.8 million of its own resources to assist students with their costs.

More than 90% of Saint Joseph’s students receive financial aid.

In addition to qualifying for merit scholarships, students who demonstrate need may qualify for up to $9,000 in grant money from Saint Joseph’s College.

In 2008-2009, the average financial aid package totaled $18,000, with $12,000 of that from grants/scholarships.

Last year, more than $8.3 million was awarded for the following scholarships (given to freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors):

Presidential  Scholarship
McAuley  Scholarship
Saint Joseph  Scholarship
Mercy Scholarship

and $2.5 million was awarded in grants. Awards are based on a full-time, four-year completion schedule and are made at the time of admission.
