The major in Communications with
Multimedia concentration focuses on the roles of digital technology in
the world of mass media. The major equips students with the technological
and computer skills needed for careers in digital technology and the mass
media. The concentration introduces students to creating, acquiring, editing,
and the delivery of computer-generated media. Practical experience is
provided at the student newspaper, service learning projects, and professional
internships. The Bachelor of Arts major in Communications with Multimedia
concentration includes two semesters of foreign language study.
